SUMMER MEADOW

This painting was quite turbulent to paint, which is part of it’s finished charm. Sometimes things just don’t quite go to plan and you have to just keep at it. The depth of texture and tones found in this piece are as a direct result of painting and over-painting, whilst the top layer was still very wet I removed parts of the paint to reveal the under coats of dark greens.

A very exciting piece to have worked on.
