PASSAGE
This painting was inspired by a trek through Kirkstone Pass slate quarry in the Lake District in Cumbria. I used heavy layers of pure powdered pigments of Prussian Blue and Red Iron Oxide mixed with an acrylic medium to create the texture of the landscape.
